The Graduate Diploma in Pastoral Studies course is designed to improve the qualifications and skills of ministers with prior vocational experience in Christian service. The program is open only to students who hold a Bachelor of Theology degree or its equivalent, and who have at least three years of post-B.Th. experience in vocational Christian ministry. Methods of instruction

ATS believes in a holistic training for each student in the development of their skills, character and spiritual qualities. There are lectures (with teacher-student, student-student interactions), book studies, actual translations and recitation, assigned readings, mentoring, internship, and team projects. Through care groups and recreational activities among the ATS community, the seminary aims to help in developing unity and social skills among the students.

Regular class time for each subject is 3 hours per week. Some Biblical Language subjects are usually split into two sessions(with 1.5 hours per session) per week.
